An agent is an AI system that can pursue a goal by taking action.
Not just generate a response\u2014but decide, act, and do.

\ud83d\udee0\ufe0f What gives it \u201cagency\u201d?<\/strong>
Simple: access to tools.
A model that can search, book, send, query, post, update, or automate has agency.
If it just chats\u2014it\u2019s not an agent. If it acts\u2014it is.

\ud83d\udcac So is a chatbot an agent?<\/strong>
Sometimes.
If it can answer questions and take actions\u2014like booking a call or submitting a form\u2014yes.
Otherwise? It\u2019s just a helpful interface.

Say you want to produce a blog post using agents. Here’s what that might look like:

\ud83d\udce4 Distributor \u2013 Adapts and publishes to multiple platforms.

Each one is focused. Together, they form a system.
That\u2019s what agentic design looks like: not just smart tools, but coordinated ones.
